About the Author
Christopher Scanlan is a writer and educator who received his B. A. from Fairfield University and his M. A. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. In the past, Scanlan has served in the peace corps, and has also been a national correspondent, reporter, and feature writer for show more several newspapers. He is currently on the faculty at the Poyner Institute. Scanlan has published fiction pieces in Redbook, Fiction Quarterly, and The Mississippi Review and his articles have appeared in both the Washington Post magazine and The Writer.
