After the cliffhanger ending in book two, I could not wait to read this book. It is the conclusion of Mei Li and Marcus's story. Wow. I am speechless. Ok, maybe not fully speechless (this is a good thing) otherwise, I would not be able to write this review.

In this book, Marcus and Mei Li's journey is a tough one. It will test them both like they have never been tested before. Just how long do you wait for your true love?

"I didn't even breathe for months after you left."

After being along show more from the beginning of Mei Li and Marcu's story, it was a bit hard to see them separated for a good length of the story. It kind of felt like my heart was broken and I did not know what to do about it. I know Marcus can relate.

"I left because you were everything to me, and I refused to be the reason you got hurt again."

Emily Cox and Nicole Allen are amazing. They are a winning duo. I invested myself mind, body, heart and soul into this trilogy. It is safe to say that Mei Li and Marcus will hold a special place in my heart forever. This trilogy ends on a high note. I look forward to what these two ladies have planned next.

I was instantly swept within the pages of this book. I could see everyone so vividly as if I knew them all for a long time. That is what reading this book was like...a hug from your grandma and eating a nice, big, warm bowl of homemade soup for the soul.

In a way Mei Li and Marcus relationship was kind of like Romeo and Juliet. Marcus's dad was trying so hard to keep him from making his past mistakes and Mei Li did not want to disappoint her family, so they tried hard to keep their show more relationship a secret. Yet, when they were together, it was like they were the only two that existed. Their secret messages and texts were sweet and funny.

Two other characters that I really liked are Guo and Meemaw. Guo is like your grandma and Meemaw is your mother. They both cared for Mei Li and Marcus.

I loved this last line..."Mei's arms wrap around me, holding us together while our old life crumbles behind us and we speed toward whatever comes next."

Sure, they're variety cryptics, so they deserve 5 stars. But a word of warning. When the "variety" structure is not too demanding of the authors, the entries are common words. But when the authors feel stretched, they have no qualms about using obscure words. If you're a solver who normally avoids using a dictionary or the Internet as aids, you might want to occasionally make an exception here.
Mei Li and Marcus may have escaped their past, but it is not any easier for their future. If anything, it is harder. There is first the elephant in the room of who are Marcus and Mei Li? Are they just friends or more. Luckily, they are able to talk it out and become a couple.

These two travel all over to various locations. The first stop is staying and working for Guo's brother, Jerry. I liked him. He is like his sister.

The silly but cute notes that Marcus leaves Mei Li are adorable. Yet, show more you know what is really cute is Marcus declaring they are celebrating Mei Day!

Emily and Nicole, how could you leave me with this cliffhanger. I am going to need book three now. Although don't worry as I..."I love you 365-Forever."
