Three awesome tattoos, one ok tattoo, and two godawful things that look like they crawled out of a 1950's scifi about aliens. Not even 1950's dinosaurs. I can't imagine what happened, here.
I really like that this book has so many interactive things for the kids to do, while also giving a description of how certain things like our voice box and taste buds work. You could easily use this book for multiple lessons and also have them keep for something to look back on if they have questions in future classes.
I love Creative Haven coloring books because they are printed with good quality paper that prevents the ink from bleeding through to another piece. The pages are perforated and printed on one side so I can paint on them with my brush pens, and keep them to look at later in a book or a frame. I can share them with friends for an afternoon tea and coloring get together.
I think this book is a great way for students to learn about their own bodies and bodily functions. It is fascinating information they will easily intrigue them. The book is filled with astonishing details and illustrations that they are able to read, color and learn from. I wish I would have had something like this when I was young to learn more about my body. Students love learning about themselves because it is relevant and meaningful to their lives. I think it is a great book for all show more students to have when focusing on a unit about the different systems in the body and just the human body in general! show less
