- I have 3 built in book cases 8' tall in the hallway full of hard cover fiction and non-fiction. My fiction is mostly Fantasy, with a bit of historical fiction thrown in. I have 8 12' shelves in one bedroom full of paperback novels. more fantasy there, also popular novels & cheap romance. I have 3 8' book cases in the craft room full of kids books and crafting books - beadwork, calligraphy, crochet and other stitching types, and general art & photography. I have 3 8' book cases in the living room full of cookbooks, DVD's and VHS's. I have a 6' book case in the office full of computer references. Maybe if I get them all into Library Thing, I'll know how many books that adds up to.

- I am a lifetime voracious reader. I have slowed down with the advent of the empty nest - I can play video games without worrying about setting a bad example! But I still read more than anyone I know. And I have more books in my personal library than anyone I know want to help me move!
