NCLA Review - Fifty-five short meditations make up this devotional book that encourages spiritual bonding between grandparents and grandchildren. The author uses the interactions she had experienced with her own grandchildren as well as her observations of them to illustrate the faith lessons to be learned from children. Each meditation includes a scripture passage, questions for reflection and a brief prayer. Some meditations will bring tears, others smiles and laughter as all are obviously show more authentic and heart felt. The reader need not be a grandparent to benefit from reading this book. One only needs to be open to learning from children and through their actions and experiences to grow in faith.
