Interesting account of pre-Raphaelite nature painting --lesstylized and more individual than their medieval imitations. Several of the figures discussed are less well-known than the major pre-Raphaelites.
Probably the best overall book on the subject, with striking essays by a number of authors. Also has a chapter on photography.
