Decent overview of the major thinkers, problems, and traditions of thought that have shaped the development of social theory. This would be a good textbook for an upper-level undergraduate theory class in sociology departments. If you need to brush up on basics, this is a good book. If you already have a decent grasp of the broad strokes of social theory, this book won't do much for you.
