Third graders LOVED this book! Where else can you find out that Ulysses S. Grant once got a $20 speeding ticket for driving too fast in Washingon, DC? Or that Andrew Jackson's pet parrot had to be takent away at his funeral because it was swearing. This book works great with a KWL chart asking students what they already know about the Preisents, what they want to know, and what they learned.
“Monkey See, Monkey Do” was written by Dana Regan. Monkeys do funny things and play a lot. I like this book because it is very funny. I like when the monkeys eat yummy things. The pictures are very funny. They dance funny in this story. This book is good for everyone, especially funny people. I give this book three out of five stars! - Hyunho, Ivy Class, February 2018

All of Little Penguin's friends are going to play/slide down the big hill, but he is scared because he has never done that before. Good rhyming story for kids about not being afraid to try new things.
