Scottish Christmas by Addison James
Beth is stuck in Scotland for Christmas since the inconsiderate CEO of the company she works for decided to move up a merger by a month and she has to work. She gets Christmas off, however, and spends it with a sexy Scotsman, Gordon MacKay, who is a friend of a friend. She meets his family who are amazing and warm, pretends to be his girlfriend when his ex-wife shows up for the family dinner, and they quickly fall in love over the Christmas break. Beth and show more Gordon have recently gone through bitter divorces but, luckily, their kids are adults. They don’t think love is in the cards for them but soon find out they’re wrong.
This is a short, sweet story about finding love after love. There are a few typos, but this is a great story and I’m happy I read it.

As you can see from it's cover, this book contains four stories by four different female authors. The plots center around Valentine's Day with young folks who bumble their way into the holiday. The love stories are sweet, G-rated, and you can read it all in one afternoon. My thanks to the author and LibraryThing for a complimentary copy.

Valentine in Love contains four short novellas:
Scottish Valentine - Addison James
A Cookie for Two - Natasha Lane
One of Those Days - Samna Ghani
When Love Comes to Call - Carol Ritten Smith
All four novellas can be read individually.
The four short tales included in this book are filled with romance, love, and valentines. The unexpected love found by each protagonist was cloches yet enjoyable. By the time I was done with the first short story I show more couldn't wait to read the others. My favourite was most definitely the first, though I found each to be enjoyable. I read this book over the course of one day. As each story ended I found myself even more excited to read the next. If you're looking for short but sweet love stories I highly suggest this book. Each story is well written and interesting. I liked it a whole heck of a lot. So check it out.

This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.A cutesy anthology of 4 very short and sweet valentine themed love stories.
Scottish Valentine - Addison James
A Cookie for Two - Natasha Lane
One of Those Days - Samna Ghani
When Love Comes to Call - Carol Ritten Smith
I think of all four I liked A Cookie for Two by Natasha Lane the best, but in all honesty all four novellas were great on their own. If you like to discover new authors (all 4 were new to me) and you enjoy romantic novellas this is the book for you.
