Jen Schefft

I picked this book up more out of curiosity than anything else (I didn't even watch The Bachelor or The Bachelorette when Jen Schefft was on). It was enjoyable enough - a good read for young women who want to feel good about not dating a bunch of losers or jerks just to "have a man." It's a positive message coming from someone with lots of experience in that department: the still single, over-thirty Schefft.

I admire the author's confidence in writing this book, and her gutsy use of her fame to write and sell a book, but there was little in it for me. Of course I am not interested in dating and live a much different lifestyle than the author, so the insights were not useful for me. Good luck to her.

Oh this book has the best intentions...but it is very, very bland. And full of trite, glaringly obvious observations. I appreciate Ms. Schefft's effort, but really.
