Extremely basic introduction to Access that's good for the newbie or as a refresher for someone like myself who's trying to get back to Access after being away from it for a number of years. Comprehensive files can be downloaded – and in fact you'll need these files to get any value out of the book, so make sure the files are still available online before you put out the $34.99 list price (or whatever discounted price you get).
Unfortunately (and I'm writing this review as of 16 Dec 2017) show more there's no Step-by-Step title yet available for Access 2016, but the 2016 version differs very little from the 2013 so you shouldn't have any trouble following the current Access version using this slightly dated edition.
Again, this book is extremely basic and if you want to get a bit more advanced you might check out Access 2013: The Missing Manual (again, there's no Missing Manual version for Access 2016) or the Access 2016 Bible, the latter getting fairly techie. show less

How this manual stacks up against its scads of competitors, I don't know, because this is the only one I've looked at. I would have preferred more completeness and a less adulatory stance.
