I bought this for the kolache and bread recipes as per the Sykora Bakery in Cedar Rapids, IA. However, this little paperback is stuffed full of recipes reminiscent of the baking and cooking done by my father and grandmother. I use the Never Fail Dumpling recipe all of the time. Milk soup, kolache, rhubarb custard pie, etc. There are a few ethnic photos in the center of book.. A brief history and traditions are included.

Such a list of healthy ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your dietary needs.
Wanted to make the zucchini bread but not all the directions are there.
Recipes include a title, color photo for most, ingredients and how to make. There are several that the recipe is not complete.
Chocolate peanut butter cookies sound good and too easy, good for a snack on the go.
