This is a beautifully illustrated story of an extended family's annual vacation to Edisto Beach in South Carolina. The story, told by one of the little cousins, describes a day when all when all the cousins, aunts, uncles, and even Grandma come to the "Pink House." They do several fun things, such as swim, go fishing, hunt for shells, sing songs with Aunt Kate, read books, eat the fish and crabs, play games...and then go to bed to get up and do it all agian the next day.
