Naomi Lazard

Naomi Lazard is an American poet and playwright and has been Poet-in-Residence at Hamilton/Kirkland College and at the University of Montana, USA. Her publications include three books of poetry: Cry of the Peacocks (1967), The Moonlit Upper Deckerina (1977) and Ordinances (1984). She is also the show more author of the children's book What Amanda Saw. She also wrote the screenplay for The White Raven and the play The Elephant and the Dove. Lazard is a former President of the Poetry Society of America and co-founded The Hamptons International Film Festival. show less
