Henry Rubin

This book is somewhat dry, with discussions of sociological theories and a chapter on the feminist and lesbian movements and their relationship to FtMs. I'm not big into theory so can't review the book in depth. There were some interesting parts, especially the first-person accounts and the section on the different ways guys identify sexually. FtMs with lesbian careers and without lesbian careers, subdivided into straight- and gay-identified men.
