This book is essential for students of English. Simple, concise (compared to what universities tend to suggest on the subject) and straight to the point, it will help you improve your marks and will make you focus mostly on the essentials of literary theories and criticism and English as a contemporary subject. It is definitely useful when suffering from the blank page on an essay (as a good helper for essay plans and structures), and it is also very useful for revisions and general show more guidance. Highly recommended. show less
Textual Intervention: Critical and Creative Strategies for Literary Studies (Interface S.) by Rob Pope
University text; the author was one of my professors. Textual Intervention is an area of interest for me and this is a frequently consulted book even now.
