How do you start an educational revolution? You start with a dream, you mix in determined priests, kids with drive, and ask the Chicago community to fund you. Then you pray and watch it grow. Cristo Rey is the story of how one school is changing the way Latinos look at themselves and the world. One day a week they work in the real world. The other four school days their classes will be sometimes in Spanish and sometimes in English. They have to master both. The school demands much but the show more world demands more and these incredible kids are living up to those demands. Once they never dreamed they could go to college let alone graduate high school. At Cristo Rey they dream big. Everyone will be accepted to at least one college and many will be accepted at many more. The businesses they work at are a Who's Who list of business and they have the highest of praise for these ambassadors of their community. More Than a Dream is one of the most inspirational stories you will read right up there with Three Cups of Tea. show less
