Jeff Mock

This book was published in 1998, but from my notes, it didn't come across as very dated. I found the text accessible, helpful, and full of great quotes. I noted that if I were a poet (more than one month a year), this is a book I would definitely want to own.

There are tons of poetry writing exercises and prompts throughout the book, as well as plenty of poems by Mock and others as examples of the topics he was discussing.

All in all, this is a very useful poetry writing guide which anyone show more who writes poetry regularly would do well to read, if not purchase as a permanent reference. show less
