Roger Moore plays misogynistic, hard-drinking, cat-loving military genius Rufus Excaliber Ffolkes, who's called into action by the British Government when a group of terrorists take over a North Sea oil rig. The overall plot is a touch silly but always engaging. Director Andrew V.McLaglen compensates by keeping the tempo high and wringing plenty of tension out of the situation. The overall cast is good with Anthony Perkins and James Mason providing great support to Roger Moore in the lead show more role. Moore is first class as Ffolkes, for once breaking out of his debonair, handsome 007 persona to build a great, eccentric character. "North Sea Hijack" isn't the most intellectually challenging film ever but it is a hugely enjoyable action romp, with plenty of action and suspense and with a great, atypical central performance from Roger Moore. show less
Not to bad a comedy with surest fight in the mud. The main actor is well supported. They is Aldo a chase not unlike a Benny Hill chase.
The Undefeated is based on a true story and a typical John Wayne film he is well supported by Rock Hudson. The picture like alll. John films has some great action.
TheComancheros is again a typical John Waynefilm.
TheComancheros is again a typical John Waynefilm.
TV mini-series: America just before and during the Civil War, as seen through the eyes of an artist correspondent.
