3.9 Not bad! Few plot holes - unclear why Borodin hired Jack to tail his wife? It was a good read with some good twists and turns. Might pick up another of his books.

A bit too hackneyed for my taste - the hard-boiled down on his luck character has been done a few too many times (and much better). Noir cop fiction can be great.
