Dark Mind by Matthew Goldstein is an unusual fantasy of a boy that hears voices in his head and they make challenges that he feels compelled to do. He feels if he doesn't do them something bad will happen. To the outside world, he looks like a kid with tics or a kid acting out. He has a kid stalking him and finds that this kid also has the same issue. It wasn't clear for most of the book that these voices were predicting what would happen if he didn't do things they said, only later did it show more become clear. It was also hard to like the main character because of his temper, esp when he almost kills a boy for no reason. It was a unique book and interesting. I did enjoy it and wanted to finish it to see what would happen and never thought to stop. It has some twists near the end that helped the story out a lot. Overall, a good story! show less
