4449. Lord of London, by Eric N. Simons (read 12 Jun 2008) I think Simons does a good job telling of the uprising led by Jack Cade in 1450. He also tells of Wat Tyler's escapade in 1381, and compares the two uprisings--showing that Jack Cade was a better guy than Wat Tyler. There is documentation and a bibliography, as well as an excerpt from Henry VI--Part II. Simons says Shakespeare is unfair to Jack Cade.

1420 Henry VII: The First Tudor King, by Eric N. Simons (read 23 Nov 1976) This is not a good book: footnoteless and so chronological that it is all unorganized. He says Henry VII was a great king. He was born Jan 28, 1457 and died Apr 21, 1509, having won the Battle of Bosworth Field on Aug 22, 1485.

This book provides a good overview of steel casting production.
