Reviews
An economic specialist has written, not a novel, not a dry economic study, but a "financial Western". The "little $25,000 bankā¦started in a frontier cattle town in Gila Valley and grew into the largest bank in the Rocky Mountian Region" multiplying its original grubstake by ten thousand times in 50 years while financing much of the extraordinary growth of the state. (The fact that the bank failed near the end of the 1900's is not known at this publication.)
