It was good, but the ending (resolution) felt rushed. Still, I would give this author another try because the writing is good.

The romance was adorable but if the heroine is actually plain, or plump, or whatever her undescribed characteristics that made her pale in comparison to her friend Miranda, then I feel like this sweet piece of fluff is getting my hopes up. Men like this are just not real.

I thought it was quite clever to launch the following story from the closing scene of the preceding short. Goodreads denotes 2-star ratings to be "it's okay", and it was. Concise, good, clean writing with no glaring editing needs to draw one away from the story. All five stories started off well with attention grabbing ideas/action/scenes. It would be hard to pick a favorite, they were are sweet.
