My first experience of Chinese food was at a local takeaway as a teenager. I was intrigued and hooked. Soy sauce on its own tasted better than anything else I knew! This book shows how to cook great tasting takeaway style dishes as well as more authentic home style Chinese cuisine. Really like it!
I like watching Ching-Hu's TV cookery programmes, and Ken has been around for years; this story of their trip to China was shown on TV, and like most travel programmes was interesting and enjoyable. When I saw this on sale in a remainder bookshop, I jumped at the chance, and bought it. Haven't tried the recepies yet, but I think it's always fun to read a cookery book
