Pictures are very colorfully illustrated. There is a lot of detail in the drawings. The story is simple. A toad makes a list to go shopping and he is so at awed with all the people and activities going on that he returns home and is exhausted. It is only when he goes to eat does he discover that he forgot to get the items on his list. He did not even buy one thing. I feel this story does not have a lot to offer but I do think there can be lots of discussions about the drawings.
