Being as this book is an atypical product from Mr. Ginter, I can understand the criticisms of this volume. This is the first Ginter produced product I have purchased that did not address a single aircraft. So, I'm wondering what the other, similar multi-subject volumes look like.
The volume attempts to cover a exceedingly broad scope of aircraft and is very liberal with the definition of "Command Aircraft". In my mind, that means aircraft assigned to FOGO, not CAG, Attache, etc. In other show more words, no star,no inclusion. The biggest problem appears to be one of subject and title. A Blue Goose was technically a VIP transport, not an aircraft assigned to a commander like a CAG or MAG commander.

The inclusion of pictures and information not related to VIP aircraft does confuse and muddy the readability of the volume as other reviewers have suggested.
Having said all that, the color profiles, which are very unusual for this publisher are absolutely gorgeous.
