Though mild -- with occasional spikes of teen melodrama -- I'm enjoying most of the characters and the situations they are in. I'm not happy to see one storyline start to toy with a student/teacher relationship, but I'm willing to see what direction it will take for now.
Everyone in the literature club is paired (or triangled) up now, so we can sit back and relax as we see how the various romantic relationships play out and how the girls juggle love and sex. Happiness and heartbreak around every bend from here on out.
I only wish a teacher wasn't in the mix. Why do so many manga have to go that route? He's not moving toward statutory rape at the moment, but he is actively grooming her. So there's that.
Oh, one of the girls talks about her past (non-physical) show more experience with a super-creepy pedophile. So yeah, just so you know, this is not a cheerful and carefree series. show less

The girls of the high school literature club are becoming unsettled by the eroticism of the books they are reading, especially as it comes at a moment when it seems everyone in their class is moving past childish crushes to sexual awakenings. The book is a giant emotional swirl of their confusion, desires, doubts, jealousies, and fears.
I'm going to continue on since I have the next two volumes on hand.

A slow sort of filler book in the middle of the series has the smallest of incremental advances in all the platonic and romantic relationships. How the teacher is handling a student's crush remains inappropriate, but the development of a romantic triangle among three students is proceeding nicely. All this plays out over the literary club planning for the upcoming school cultural festival by taking an overnight trip to an inn for an extended brainstorming session.
