This is the nonfiction account of some students at Oyster Bay High and their counselor Gwyeth Smith, but it reads like a novel. Loved it.

Every teen planning to go to college should read this book before the end of their junior year. Every parent of a college-bound teen should read it. Anyone working with teens to support their going to college should read it. A terrific and enlightening narrative guide to the college admissions process and more specifically an homage to the guidance counselor devoted to seeing all his students succeed.

It's all right. Interesting, if not particularly helpful. I got a few tips from it, but getting SuperGenius WonderKids into top colleges is not particularly relevant to my life.
