No, because this volume is unhinged and I love it. Such solid pacing, a highly entertaining story arc, even more delightful characters, and darling Inosuke being unintentionally the funniest character in the whole series. I absolutely lost it when the rats showed up, and then when Inosuke tunneled into the ground I thought I was gonna bust a vein from laughing so hard.
No spoilers, but this one was both terrifically entertaining and wholly gut-wrenching. I’m a little mad at ~certain~ events that happened yet at the same time it made perfect sense and felt like the natural progression of things. Did I tear up and gasp multiple times at these events? Yes. But they still made sense. There were also so many little moments of hope and strength in this volume that I really enjoyed seeing. This and the last volume really sealed the deal for me reading the rest show more of the series and I can’t wait to see what happens next! show less
This is actually one of the very very rare few manga series where the ending is actually really fucking good and satisfying and actually feels like the big bad has been defeated and it was worth all the effort it took and wasn’t over in like 5 mins and you feel like how was this worth all that time. ugh, so good!!
I need to stop saying who my favorite characters are in things because EVERY TIME those characters end up biting it. (T_T) It happened back in Vol. 8, and now in this volume, and it's probably going to happen AGAIN...my poor heart can't take much more of this...I literally have no idea who is going to come out of this alive and it's stressing me tf out. All I can say now is that if Inosuke ends up dying I really just might have to never read a book again.
Anyways this volume went hard and I show more loved it and I'm ready to keep binge reading the next few final books! show less
