What happens when you take an intelligent, strong Sullivan woman & tell her she needs tall, dark, handsome, alpha Roman as her bodyguard & that you've hired him without her permission? Sparks fly, tempers flare & passions rise! This book is hot!! From the first meeting between Roman & Suzanne, the chemistry just flew off the page & each encounter just got hotter. I loved both characters! Roman is strong, passionate & fierce but also has a sensitive, protective side. Even though he stubbornly show more feels he doesn't deserve a woman to love because of his history in boxing & his parents relationship, he doesn't have a chance. Suzanne was angry with her brothers for hiring Roman & acting like she can't protect herself. As each incident happens, she begins to see how narrow her view is & what she's missed. In all of these stories, we've seen how the Sullivan's are a large spread out family that pulls together whenever one of them needs the others. It's quite a contrast to Romans father when we are introduced to him. I really can't wait to see who manages to bring arrogant Alec to his knees!!! show less
Christie Hayden always runs. If a situation gets too bee too much for her, she runs to somewhere new. She knows how devastating secrets can be & hates that she's been entrusted with two. She was planning her wedding to her best friend, Wesley when she discovers one of the reasons she was having misgivings. They cancelled the wedding. When Christie awoke the next morning, instead of Wesley helping her explain, she had to do it herself. Wesley left a letter begging her to keep his secret & show more telling her he'd be back but he needed time. Now she has to keep a secret from people she has grown close to & it's taking a toll on her.
Liam has been traveling for work. He has caught a flight straight from China to attend his brother's wedding. Wesley's letter telling him the wedding was cancelled didn't catch up to him before he got there. He could tell that Christie was keeping something from him. He wasn't sure he wanted to be home but felt he needed to stick around to help run the inn & find Wesley. As Christie shows him the ropes & teaches him about running an inn, Liam learns more about her & is struggling with suppressing his emotions. Can he learn to trust Christie? Can he learn to show his emotions again?
What a wonderful emotional tale! From the lesson of what havoc keeping secrets can cause to the older story of the haunting of Christie's room, Bella Andre has written a story that keeps the reader enthralled. From the cancelled wedding at the beginning, the reader is pulled into the emotions & the story. The plot twists & turns in unexpected ways. The characters are well developed & realistic. The supporting characters add color, depth & drama to the story. A large number of the characters are the same as in Book 1 but this can easily be read as a stand alone. There are a few references you might miss but you will not be lost & unsure about what's happening. This book is another example of Bella Andre's wonderful writing style. I really enjoyed it & can't wait for Book 3! show less

Finally, Bella Andre has given us Lori's story. Lori is the twin her brothers nicknamed Naughty and she was proud to live up to her title. She is stubborn and beautiful and doesn't do anything half-way. When she loves, she loves with all her heart. Now she has learned how unworthy the man she gave her heart to was and is looking for a new life without him and dancing.
An impulsive decision at a car rental company sends her to a small town near San Francisco where she, again impulsively, sees show more a sign for someone looking for a farmhand and decides to apply. Grayson Tyler had no idea what his ad was going to generate. He left New York after the death of his wife and has started a new life as a farmer. He would be perfectly content to wallow in his grief and guilt and never interact with people again. Lori is just what he needs to have him re-evaluate his decision. But he's stubborn too, and cranky, and hurt—and Lori has her work cut out for her.
Lori surprises Grayson with the way she throws herself into all the farm activities and surprises herself with how much she loves it. Bonding the two together even more is Grayson's cat Mo who is dying of leukemia. Lori gives her whole heart to this helpless cat even though she sneezes every time she is near it.
Lori and Grayson fall in love despite their perceived differences. Grayson is content with his life on the farm but fears that Lori will miss her high-power career as a dancer and choreographer. Lori knows they can work it out. Lots of her brothers have relationships with unlikely partners too.
This was a great romance and nicely brings the romances of the eight children of Mary and Jack Sullivan to their happy endings. Of course, Bella Andre has more romances in store. There are lots of Sullivan cousins. And Mary who has been a widow since Lori was two might be ready to find a new romance of her own. show less

"The Way You Look Tonight" by Bella Andre was the meeting of the Seattle, WA Sullivan Family. These Sullivan's are the cousins of 'Chase, Marcus, Gabe, Zach, Ryan, Smith Naughty and Nice.' This series is about Rafe Sullivan who was a very successful PI and wasn't enjoying his job the way he use to. Mia, Rafe sister thought a vacation was needed and gets show more him to buy the lake house that had once belonged to his parents when they were kids. So, Rafe heads for the lake house and who does he find is his next door neighbor? A childhood friend named Brooke Jansen was now living her grandparents home. Brooke's grandparents had passed away and left her their house. Brooke had been living in the house for three years and had owned a Truffle business . Now,this is where I say you must pick up the wonderful read to see what will happen after Rafe and Brooke meet up after all this time. I don't want to give any of it away but I will ask will there be a 'summer fling' between these two? I simply loved how this author put this story all together because be aware there will be hot sexy and even some kinky stuff going on. I found the characters were all well developed, interesting and oh so such a colorful only giving the reader an amazing good read. I also enjoyed how the author presented detailed descriptions of the cabin and lake in this resort area. You will find yourself laughing and smiling as you read through "The Way You Look Tonight." By the end of this read you will find yourself just waiting to the next Sullivan story and with that being said would I recommend this series? YES, YES and YES! This was truly a beautiful read of the 'Seattle Sullivans.' show less
