Nora works at a haunted house when she sees Brendan, whom she terrorized in middle school, come into the room she is working. Hoping he does not recognize her, she lets her mouth run wild since her brain can't seem to stop it. Brendan is intrigued when she pulls out all the stops before he leaves. He comes back and then let the games begin!

I enjoyed the story. I liked the short time frame of the story--it made it more urgent when she tries to make amends. I was interested to see what happens with her atonement--extremely interesting. I liked the characters. I'll need to find the next books in the series to see what happens to Nora and Brendan.… (more)

Taste Me, Tempt Me: Eight Tales of Sweet and Spicy Romance

Eight contemporary and historical romance by eight authors. Each storied varied in the Romance genre from sweet to spicy. I did prefer the sweet romance a bit more that the "spicy" ones, because that is just my preference.

One thing I really liked about this book is at the end of each story there was a recipe which pertained to the story. I found it original and I love originality in books. My favorite was Love in the Lavendar.

Overall I found the stories were enjoyable. I gave four stars because some of the stories had a bit too much sex for my liking. BUT I do feel those who love romance will enjoy Taste Me, Tempt Me: Eight Tales of Sweet and Spicy Romance

I always look for something quick and fun to read for the Halloween season. Of course, most of my reading is in the genre of paranormal but I love a good Halloween book. Crazy, Sexy, Ghoulish was given to me in exchange for an honest review and honestly... I loved it.

First off, this is a novella so it isn't a long book. I knew this going in but I was sad when I got to the end because I wanted it to keep going. It was fun, it was sassy, and it had a high level of engagement. Girl was mean to boy, girl grows up, boy comes back to town, girl likes boy and regrets what she did, boy finds out who she is and leaves, girl apologizes... Nothing deep but perfect for an October read. The haunted house setting, Nora's daily costume changes, and her acting were a lot of fun to read. I read the whole story in about half an hour while on the treadmill and if it hadn't ended, I would still be exercising because I wouldn't have wanted to stop reading. I would definitely read other books by this author but I would also love a second novella with Brendan and Nora, even if they weren't the featured characters.
