Reading this book is so nostalgic.

I love that the illustrations change from black and white to color, and I love the idea of not having to cook or plan meals because it just comes with the weather.

However, the thought of milk falling from the sky and getting stuck in a drain somewhere makes me want to vomit.

The tiny town of Chewandswallow was very much like any other tiny town except for its weather which came three times a day, at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
But it never rained rain and it never snowed snow and it never blew just wind. It rained things like soup and juice. It snowed things like mashed potatoes. And sometimes the wind blew in storms of hamburgers.

Life for the townspeople was delicious until the weather took a turn for the worse. The food got larger and larger and so did the portions. Chewandswallow was plagued by damaging floods and storms of huge food. The town was a mess and the people feared for their lives.
Something had to be done, and in a hurry.

Ok, listen up y’all this may look like your everyday kids fairytale rhyming book, but I’m here to tell you it’s a scandalous adult version.

You will find Rapunzel, Jack and Snow White poems written to appease adults. This had me laughing out loud and I don’t think I will be able to read the classic fairytales the same anymore!

This is a perfect gift for anyone who loves fairytales or any parent who is reading fairytales to their kids and needs a good laugh.

The illustrations are spot on, On the second slide I took a pic of the authors spin on Snow White!! Totally hysterical!… (more)

Oddly prescient about climate change and climate refugees, this ultimate celebration of the five-second rule is just too goofy for me.
