This is another of the event's stories that needed more length in order to fulfil its potential. Far too short for the epic-style plot.

In a fun parody on Dr. Who (only ‘the doctor’ is ‘the professor’ here), this wild sci-fi tale is a journey through time via the means of an Airstreamer/trailer. Despite the many similarities and plays off the famous BBC TV series there are enough differences to make this interesting. The sentient hedgehogs (or bush pigs) are only one of the variations, but one that made me smile.

Terry is having trouble adjusting to his lover’s death when, in a bizarre incident, he is pulled from his own time and taken on a journey that lets him visit several future events. I liked the slight mystery around what is going on that isn’t resolved until the very end. As confused as Terry, I leaned back and enjoyed he ride. Terry does the same and eventually finds out what it was all about.

Like with all circular time travel, I was left with a slight headache, sure there was a paradox in there somewhen. Of course, not having ‘chrono’somes, like the professor, I was unable to figure it out. If you like slightly weird stories with a twist, are fluent in temporal phenomena, and want to go on a wild ride, you will probably enjoy this short story.
