Wow. This book is a marvel of design and editorial architecture. It is 355 pages long, divided into eight chapters. But each chapter is divided into succinct sections, almost all of which are merely two pages long. Rarely, there are some 4- and 6-page sections. The sections are rich in information while avoiding getting bogged down. And each section is further enhanced by large, colorful photographs and illustrations. Thus, you can pick the book up, spend a few minutes on section and then put the book back down. I originally got a copy through Inter-Library Loan, and got an extension. It became obvious I was not going to finish the entire thing in the loan period. But I could not just turn my back on it. So I bought my own copy and continued reading a section or two most nights.
