In 1984 Peter Case almost won a Swordquest video game competition with his friends. The prize was a toy sword. But then the company never finished the final installment. Case never recovered from his disappointment and today is a broken man with poor health. Then he comes up with a crazy plan to steal the sword when it goes on display at a comics expo. But of course there is more to it than that.

1984 and Case -- and Case's burnt-out condition as an ex-master gamer(hacker) reminded me of Neuromancer by William Gibson. It's unlikely to be a coincidence.

Well-drawn and averagely-written comic with few surprises.
