This book really surprised me. It's not a genre I have normally ventured into. I found it a surprising treat because it the action kept me intrigued. What an interesting time period. The characters were quite interesting and kept me wanting to learn more and see what happened to them. I found it had a strong voice. I could relate to characters. It still ran smooth. Quite a good book. I recommend it anybody that likes romance. You might find yourself as surprised as I was. I'm looking forward to reading book 2 of the series. Highly recommend.… (more)
