Frank Bunce

Minor, but enjoyable. An accountant pretending to be a private detective gets more than he bargained for when his cruise turns into the setting for a couple of mysterious murders. Not hardboiled enough to make it really good, but Bunce is actually a pretty good writer and occasionally the psychological insights into various behaviors are memorable. If I run across any of his other books, I will probably check them out. It looks like he was capable of doing more than he did here.
