Nick Burningham

A marvellous, idiosyncratic account of a voyage around the Swan and Canning rivers in a tiny battered sailing/rowing boat called Earnest. It's a tale of the hidden history of an area I know well and am planning to explore myself. I've met Nick and know some of the people and many of the places in this book which adds a layer of delight, but anyone interested in boats, history or the environment will enjoy this book.
