This book consists of color fashion plates with brief descriptions from all the major fashion trends from 1066 to the end of the 20th Century. A good book for research or the theater, it also covers famous designers' work.

Too big of a topic, and not enough time to do more than give a snippet of coverage. A typical enough Osprey fault.
