A competent but unremarkable guide to autobiographical writing that is compromised by its length. It contains too many sections about peripheral matters that would have been better omitted or expanded. A list of common grammatical errors may be useful for some readers but those who need such help are likely to want more than is provided here. Given the book's brevity, I recognise that omitting these sections would have left it too slight to be viable and the series of which it is part is not given to any depth of coverage.… (more)
