Late, Lost, and Unprepared: A Parents' Guide to… by Joyce Cooper-Kahn (Ph.D.)
The strategies described for each skill are repetitive and vague, but many scenarios are described which help fill in the blanks for those of us who are not clinical psychologists. When I finished, I thought I already knew a lot of the information in the book. I was looking for specific, concrete examples to use, and I came away feeling like I needed professional assistance. Overall, there is good advice and encouragement in the book so I feel it was worth the read at only 205 pages.
