This is a shifter romance story. I normally I like these kinds of stories and consider them a light and fun read. This story was just not for me. The best part was the sex scenes. They were hot, descriptive and fully detailed. I often wished that that much attention had been paid to the dialogue which was often stilted and silly. The characters were not fully developed. The relationships between the characters were not well thought out. The same details were repeated over and over to where I thought to myself, “I get it, Bull Creek is a sanctuary. Bane and his coyotes are hateful and annoying. Adira, the witch, whose magic is broken was sent by Agatha and the council to help out. Adira is not defenseless, her heart was broken by Jenson, another shifter, etc.” These points were inserted so many times I found it repetitive. I wanted to like this story but just couldn’t.
