A Pride and Prejudice variation where Mr and Mrs Bennet attempt to force Elizabeth to marry Mr. Collins.

In this Pride and Prejudice variation, after a carriage accident Elizabeth Bennet is the only member of her family left (I did miss the Bennets) and is living with the Philips. Unfortunately her uncle Gardiner has need of her dowry and the plans are overheard by Darcy. Darcy who has been told by his father to marry Anne de Bourgh within a fortnight develops a plan to save Elizabeth and himself by marriage.

In this P&P variation Bingley and Darcy have arrived without Caroline Bingley and the Hursts but they soon arrive as uninvited guests. Jane is soon to be ill while at Netherfield and Elizabeth attends her. What of the relationship between Jane and Bingley, though Darcy and Elizabeth become close, but of course their relationship never runs smoothly. Thankfully there is some intrigue and mystery in this story to make it interesting.
