This book is a good example of the erotic bondage genre, involving restraint, humiliation and quite intense erotic discipline. It is mostly M/F in orientation, with significant F/F, and concerns the process of submission of Tessa, the principal female, to the man who is to be her dominant master, Miles, a painter and maker of private ‘home movies’. Tessa’s flatmate Martine also becomes intimately involved with Miles, as part of Tessa’s humiliation, and the book relates in detail the successive stages of her acceptance of her comprehensive role. A pain-drenched orgy is part of the process, as are the wearing of bondage-style clothing and various piercings. It is well written, and will be valued by those into bondage.… (more)

The basic scenario for this book isn’t unique, but it does carry the idea along quite well. Essentially, a highly charged couple who enjoy group escapades with a numerous collection of like-minded enthusiasts attract a new female devotee, with leanings towards submission, and train her to supplement their domination games. As you’d expect, the training involves much painful chastisement, and a wide range of stimulating activities between men and (more so) women. It may be recommended for readers who enjoy inter-personal power games and emotional conflicts in this sort of scenario, although I wouldn’t say it was much above average as a stimulus.… (more)
