A “Futures End” one shot that I actually enjoyed. Not the greatest but better compared to the other ones.

This is exactly what you’d expect from the concept. Collecting the first six issues from the comics series this is a nice quick read full of fun light-hearted, episodic stories.

But if you know your Batman history or a fan of the Mystery Machine gang there are also a ton of call-backs and references that add a whole other new level of fun to the experience.

This is a fun, enjoyable book full of jokes and teamwork. It's not great literature, but it's also not trying to be. What it is trying to be is a fun romp with these two different sets of characters having adventures together, and it achieves that quite well! There are also plenty of jokes for adults to enjoy too. (Nothing lewd, but things I think would go over the heads of younger readers, like references to the voice actors of these characters.)

I loved Teen Titans.

But I adore Teen Titans Go! It's funny and sharp and the overload on colours and talking is right up my alley. Me and my brother can watch this for days, my partner has enough after one episode. It takes a certain kind of person to like the show.

This comic wasn't what i expected. It felt too slow. An overload of things but at the same time not interesting. I feels unfair to compare the comic to the show but I do. And this fails.

Only the art I adored and gave this the extra star...

I guess the appeal for this would be the character interactions, because the plot (if you can call it that) isn't cohesive. It's more like little half-stories glued together in one volume. Every problem is resolved too quickly to get any gratification, and I was repeatedly left waiting for more only for none to come. The artwork was nice, though.

This is a fun book and it does not matter if one has seen the show or not. It's superheros acting zany and learning to become adults with the fun of being a kid. And who would have thought the titans would camp. Or be so bad at it.

This collection of team-ups between Mystery Inc. and a selection of DC heroes is a lot of fun.

Great art and writing that felt true to the kids TV versions of these characters.

If you think you might like this, you probably will.

Eh, it was okay, short and silly. Some of the art is hit or miss, but I liked the easter eggs from the old series.

Like watching the show. I giggled all the way through.

Love this series as it's better at distilling the characters down to their core concepts than the regular comics. Also great to let me share my heroes with my kids.

So, in this issue, the SuperFriends are trying to do something good for Charity. They all get put in traps that they can only get out of one way and have to get out. Whoever gets out first wins. Yep, where could that go wrong? Heh heh.

Of course, it does go wrong, and the SuperFriends then have to deal with that. The sequence that I really liked was with Batman and the Cement. At the end of that sequence of panels he had a hilarious line that cracked me up.

Unfortunately there was still not enough diversity or enough females in this story, although at least Lois Lane was in this one-- sorta (if you blinked you missed her and she was reduced to an announcer not a prize winning journalist).

Cute. But I think I prefer Tiny Titans.

Still, it was cool and I think it's probably a great intro to the main DC characters for little kids.

The title is basically what it's about. Joker and a new Jester's League go up against the Super Friends (which is basically the Justice League).

After the story there was also some more educational stuff, activities/codes, a few questions based on some of the panels. It was cute and the questions were actually great ones, not lame at all, which pleasantly surprised me.

I did have one big problem with it. For female representation, there was only Wonder Woman and she didn't do much at all. And, that's one of the big reasons why I think the Tiny Titans is a slightly better young kids DC Comics comic, way more females and much more diverse as well.

Title: Ghostbusters: The Return Series: ----- Author: Sholly Fisch Rating: 2.5 of 5 Stars Genre: Paranormal Pages: 304 Synopsis: 5 Years after GBII, the boys are kind of making things work. Emphasis on "kind of". Until a group decides that Peter V should be the next mayor of New York. At the same time an old has-been of a spirit, the spirit of Fear that wiped out Roanoke back in the day, decides that his time has come and he needs to instill fear in people so he can emerge and walk the earth again, with the requisite blood and sacrifices, etc, etc. My Thoughts: I actually only read this because of the authors name. I mean, is that name for real? I kept wanting to call him Folly Sh*t for some reason. This book was mediocre at best. It felt like a real rehash of GBII as far as the villain went. The whole Peter for Mayor distracted from the story without adding anything except to give Morris[the black dude] a semi-happy ending. Peter and Girlfriend went over the exact same issues as they did in GBII and if it weren't for a couple of throw-away references I'd say this author wrote this book BEFORE GBII came out. I was left with absolutely NO desire to seek out or read any other Ghostbuster books, whether by this author or not. Which is to bad, because the original Ghostbusters movie is one of the best ever, cheese effects and all. "½

Loved this! Scooby and the gang team up with DC's batman and robin, the teen titans, wonder woman and the super friends. There is also some bat mite/scooby mite action in one issue. The art styles mimic the different shows and books perfectly and the writing is true to character. It's very easy to imagine the lines with the voices that we are accustomed to hearing on television. I love that it occasionally pokes fun at itself, mentioning the old television shows and referencing how Robin seems "different" around the Titans. The Daphne/Velma/Wonder Woman cover made me ridiculously happy and the reference to "danger prone Daphne" made it even better for me. It's silly and fun and completely worth the read.

I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I'm a huge fan of the Teen Titans. I love the original television show, and when Teen Titans was revived and a new show was released, called Teen Titans Go! I was there and ready to watch.

Cartoon Network has been showing episodes of Teen Titans Go! for awhile now and I admit that at first not too many people were impressed. Lately though, they have stepped up their game a notch and the shows have really become special. They have a blend of intense humor and wit that is there in the best cartoons—along with a runtime of about 10 minutes an episode (including commercials). A 20 minute show has two different episodes and it's the perfect length. They aren't "shorts" but they're not full length "episodes" either. I really like this and when I saw the graphic novel I thought it would be perfect for me to check out.

The graphic novel wasn't quite what I was expecting. It's tricky because I know exactly what I was expecting, and maybe that was why I was a bit let down. I was expecting it to be similar to the show, but it turned out to be a bit too similar. It's safe to say that this graphic novel felt exactly like the television show. The problem is, it works in the medium of television for a reason. With graphic novels, you can go to more locations, do more things, and have more people (different voices) because you don't have the restraints of television. I didn't see any differences in which I was expecting/hoping to see.

The major thing that really turned me off about this graphic novel was one of the issues within. It was exactly like a recent episode I saw on tv. The plot was about Robin when he got sick from a bad cold. They shrink and go inside his body to fight the illness. In the show it was Cyborg who they went inside, and Robin was initiating it. It was Beast Boy in this case, and he just shrunk to like a bug (because he does that, ya know)..and goes inside Robin. I was just like, REALLY!?!? It was super disappointing, I am not sure what came first but I don't want to read a graphic novel with issues that I have already seen in the television show. It's annoying. It feels kind of like a rip-off.

Would it be good for people who don't always catch the show but love the Teen Titans Go!? Yes, I think so. Is it good for people who love and watch the show and want some different? NO, it's really not.

So that's why I'm going to give this 2 stars. Two stars because I did like it, but I didn't love it. I felt like it kind of dragged on, which is bad for graphic novels and me because that's the last thing I want to feel. Especially with such short stories. The originality just wasn't there and I can't think of any additional reasons why anyone would have to seek this out to get anything that they couldn't get from the show.
