I picked this book up at the library because I wanted to learn about some techniques I'd heard/read of being used but didn't really know what they meant. This book covers: cut & fold, gatefold, iris folding, accordion fold, tea bag fold, and pop ups. I liked the summary at the beginning of each section that told a bit about it and what you needed to get started. I wish there had been a few more templates and a few less projects. Iris folding is one section that suffered from this. After telling us that most iris folds follow a pattern, no patters were presented (or if they were, they were hidden within the projects) so even though I now know what iris folding is, I couldn't go do it without searching out patterns to use.… (more)
