This book was just pure fun. For someone with a journeyman's knowledge of art history, but who can't draw worth jack, it was fun seeing the pragmatic techniques used by artists over the centuries, as I would never get to learn them through usage. This reviewer is especially frustrated because he has an almost completely eidetic memory - I can recall every curve, element, color and shadow of a picture I've seen... or of a face I remember.... for objects I've seen I can rotate them in my head... brag brag brag.....but it leads to a big nothing, because brain to fingers, some synapses must be misfiring. The Art Pack let me vicariously see and experience the use of the tools that those who have the skill use on a daily basis.… (more)
