Leonard Fullenkamp

This is a book which is probably best used as a companion while on the actual battlefield. I only drove through Vicksburg once and I've got a general feel for the area but I did not have the time to really investigate the battlefield. The work is fairly exhausted as a guide to the actual campaign but it is not a history of the battle. The narrative of the battle is Carrie primarily by the primary sources by the leading generals. It is a valuable and useful companion piece.
