Um. Seriously? May I just say that these 2 are the most sexually open guys ever. With nary a hiccup or batting an eyelash, they explore their sexuality with hardly a doubt, insecurity, or worry. Well… that’s not the entire truth, but they sure surmount their questions and confusion with extreme ease, and do so quite sexily. That’s not a complaint, since angst is highly overrated right??

Riley - quiet, contemplative, steady as a rock. He’s so laid back that nothing really ruffles his feathers - that is, until his new roomie. He hasn’t thought of himself as a take charge kind of guy until he sees that Ethan needs some hardcore grounding. Riley simply just wants to help a friend out. Uh huh.

Ethan - gregarious, brash, a fount of endless energy. Mostly in an effort to not being “that” guy, he takes a chance on his curiosity and from then on, these two can’t not stop exploring each other, despite their previous straight status. Ethan never knew being taken care of could be so addictive.

Just like in the first book, this still consistently delivers humor (still leaning on the side of awkward), sexy/sweet, and the least angst ever in a sports related coming out story. Definitely the easiest, breeziest series of its kind I’ve come across. A solid win for this 2nd installment!

Now that’s how you do a novella right.

This went down nice and easy just like the smooth bourbon it’s all about.

Ryder in an effort to save his small town and the family distillery, allows big corporate to meddle in his business, and in comes company man Adam, to make sure the humble operation is up to snuff. Though both sorta kinda want to keep it professional, there’s no doubt that the attraction runs high. Should they mix business with pleasure? Of course they should!

This was a really really nice opposites attract with a much appreciated plausible progression, a good amount of feels, all with great banter, a lot of smexy, and some very nice dirty.

If only all novellas could pull this off in such a short amount of words!!

Trade Deadline is an adorable sports romance following two intriguing and fun men.

I have to say, I really enjoyed this! I was seeking some more sport romances to add to my repertoire and this one fit just perfectly!

Micah and Daniel knew each other back in the day, and have since reunited and start a fabulous, little relationship. Daniel's an NHL player who isn't quite sure what's next, and Micah works with animals at the aquarium (one of the most random yet lovable jobs I've ever seen in a romance novel, just saying). Along the way we meet their friends and coworkers, and Daniel's ex and children, and see all of the excitement this relationship can bring.

The romance itself is adorable, and there's just enough smut to make this book feel sexy.

I did find this book didn't have much drama or tension in it, but if you're seeking a sweet and fluffy contemporary romance, then this book is for you. I also had hoped for a little more hockey in it, but this book was more focused on romance so it's understandable.

Overall, this book is a great sports romance read for those who are craving one!

Three out of five stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for providing me a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.
